Meet Louise Change Management and Communications Consultant

My career began in corporate communications until a new opportunity enabled me to change directions and become an entrepreneur. Today, I consult with clients in communications and change management in Canada and around the world.

To reach clients and their audiences the change management and communications programs we create need to achieve four goals:

• Reach people where they are today
• Support people as they make changes
• Be realistic about the effect of changes on the people
• Support the people until the change sticks!

I've worked in several different industries with different goals and operating models. But, what makes me unique is that I’ve been able to “walk in the shoes” of the people who work in the telecommunications, energy, finance and insurance industries. This provides me with a deeper understanding of how change affects them and how communication supports them.

My super-powers are the understanding and empathy I have for them. As a result, I have become a trusted adviser to C-suite executives and colleagues at all levels of their business.

Providing advice and counsel is an essential service, but I also get excited about rolling up my sleeves to:

• do the planning
• write the content
• work on the designs
• create the slides
• coach the speakers
• plan the meetings
• organize the events, and
• pick the menus!
